The Museum of Craft &
Folk Art promotes the understanding and appreciation of human expression,
ranging from utilitarian objects to contemporary art. This is accomplished
through innovative exhibitions of craft and folk art from cultures past
and present, educational programs, and publications.

Open every day (EXCEPT Wednesdays) 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
Summer hours (Memorial Day–Labor Day): 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Open late Thursdays until 9 p.m.
The Museum is closed on Wednesdays and on the following public holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
It's San Francisco's
newest and coolest art museum in a very striking building. Some freaky art
but a good place to check out if you're going to hit a museum in SF.
